4 Insiders Travel Must Haves

Welcome to our first blog. We thought it would be fun to create a space to share ideas and tips about fashion, beauty, travel and fitness. We invite your input and please share your feedback with us about what topics interest you.
We love to travel and we are always looking for ways to be more efficient and smart when it comes to packing. We asked four stylish women, who travel often, what are their must have travel items that they bring on each trip. We loved their answers!

“An Hermes shawl/scarf. It goes with everything, elevates any outfit, and is the easiest lightweight layer to add. A pleated midi skirt. I often even wear these on the plane since they provide great coverage, are chic and don’t wrinkle. Mason Pearson hairbrush. One of those beauty items I finally splurged on a few years ago and now I can’t live without it!”

Anne Lee Phillips, Houston Home Design Editor, PaperCity Magazine

“My large cozy Hermes cashmere scarf. My two favorite colognes Straight to Heaven by Kilian and Another 13 by Le Labo. My Valmont Skin Care, especially Moisturizing with a Mask, so amazing. Yoga Pants. A great book.”

Sylvia Forsythe, Marketing Director Saks Fifth Avenue Houston

‘’Maison Pearson mini pink hair brush. My hair is pretty much my personality. There are few things that I need for it but my MP brush is definitely one of them. With hair down to my hips, it gets really easily tangled and this brush is always the answer for taming my mane. Bain de Soleil. As a blonde, I always try and keep a more golden bronzey look than fresh or peachy. Bain de soleil allows me to skip the rosey cheeks/redness and go straight to the bronze. Hats. I have a problem leaving the house for any trip without at least one of my hats . My hats feel like a shield for me. A little privacy, a little protection, and a lot of chic. Also my Jacquie Aiche body chain. I haven’t taken it off since I got it. So yes, she comes everywhere with me and is part of every outfit!

Pamela Tick, DJ, Model, Style Influencer

“Biologique Recherche collagen masks because my skin requires deep hydration to stay glowy when traveling. My new I phone XI because with the triple picture feature I can easily document my travels for @mamaandtata without a real camera. A pair of Colovos Jeans because they are my favorite go-to item and easy/comfortable to travel in. My new Black Iris bodysuits, because whether it’s jeans or a great skirt, they go with everything, a great combo of chic and comfortable My Irene Neuwirth opal heart necklace, because it was a gift from my children and husband for Mother’s Day one year, and I don’t leave home without it!”
